With geometry designed around 29" wheels only and internal routing for your rear brake and a rear dynamo light, the new Dérive CR is every bit as capable as it’s titanium brother, at a fraction of the price. The Viral Derive is our do it all, bikepacking, backcountry, all country bike made for everything from a rigid fork to a 120mm travel front fork. Multiple mounting points for fenders and racks and mounting for three water bottles on all sizes including a 3 pack mount on the underside of the downtube, and a top tube ‘gas tank’ mount. This bike is an incredibly versatile machine and capable of anything you throw at it, from your daily mountain bike ride to the Tour Divide, the Dérive CR is the ultimate ‘last bike you’ll ever buy’. The Dérive CR can be purchased as just a frame, with the Pinion mechanical gearbox, or with the Pinion Smart.Shift electronic shifting system, with wiring and battery internally hidden and protected.
